Data Collectors

overview
Data Collection is the first step in the execution of a StealthAUDIT job, and our 30+ Data Collectors (DCs) make it a snap.

The DCs in the StealthAUDIT Management Platform are dynamically loaded libraries that can be "plugged into" Solution Sets to expand functionality for additional data collection techniques. DCs are implemented with graphical configuration interfaces that use inherent knowledge of the sources for these system properties, coupled with "example-based" selection techniques and logical element groupings, to make using them easy. This implementation empowers administrators to compose and run queries in minutes that would take hours or days to script effectively.

  • Blackberry Enterprise Server Data Collector – Many new enhancements for managing, monitoring, and metrics of BlackBerry devices and usage.
  • Exchange 2K+ Data Collector – Enhanced with PowerShell-based interfaces for Exchange 2007 and 2010 compatibility.
  • Exchange Logons Data Collector – New applet-based Data Collector to record who is logging into mailboxes that they don’t own.
  • Exchange Metrics Data Collector – Enhanced to provide user-to-user emailing patterns and profiling.
  • File System Access Auditor Data Collector – New applet-based Data Collector designed with baked-in business intelligence to calculate effective user access based on policy, share, and NTFS permissions, plus effective group enumeration.
