Stealthbits Joins RSA Ready Technology Partner Program with RSA Security Analytics Interoperability

June 16, 2015

StealthINTERCEPT® Real-Time Threat Detection and Active Directory Firewall product is now interoperable with RSA® Security Analytics, one of the Industry Leading Advanced Threat Detection and Forensics Platforms.

HAWTHORNE, NJ, June 16, 2015 – Stealthbits Technologies Inc., a leading data security software company that ensures the right people have the right access to the right information, today announced that its cutting-edge StealthINTERCEPT real-time threat detection product is now interoperable with RSA® Security Analytics solution. StealthINTERCEPT has been stamped an ‘RSA® Ready’ solution through the RSA® Ready Technology Partner Program, which certifies interoperability between the StealthINTERCEPT RSA Security Analytics solutions.

StealthINTERCEPT enhances RSA Security Analytics’ visibility into the security operations occurring within the Microsoft infrastructure by feeding it only relevant, pre-analyzed alerts, not a massive flow of native logs, the vast majority of which are unhelpful and not connected intelligently in any way. By focusing on Active Directory, StealthINTERCEPT is engineered to secure the one system so many attack vectors need to leverage to steal authorized access and inflict damage. “StealthINTERCEPT’s philosophy is a departure from traditional security approaches,” emphasized Stealthbits VP, Adam Laub. “Active Directory is the authentication and authorization hub of most organizations’ IT infrastructure, and the mechanism that controls access to virtually every system, application, and data repository. Securing Active Directory is paramount to securing everything connected to it.”

RSA Security Analytics is a security monitoring and investigative solution designed to help organizations defend their digital assets against today’s most sophisticated internal and external threats. RSA Security Analytics fuses SIEM, Network Forensics, & Big Data analytics into a security platform that will be a cornerstone of next generation security operations centers.

By monitoring and analyzing every change and authentication activity occurring within Active Directory, StealthINTERCEPT detects patterns of behavior indicative of malware propagation or attempts to compromise resources, accounts, and credentials in real-time, and without any reliance on native logging. StealthINTERCEPT surfaces the needles without the haystack, alleviating a significant burden on security operations centers and providing it just the data needed to bring the perimeter and interior together into one, cohesive view. Added Laub, “The collaboration of Security Analytics with StealthINTERCEPT makes it much more difficult for today’s most advanced threats to fly under the radar in an enterprises’ Windows infrastructure.”

The RSA Security Analytics interoperability was completed with the newest release, StealthINTERCEPT 3.3, which adds out-of-the-box, real-time security analytics that illuminate difficult to detect authentication-based attacks such as Account Hacking, Horizontal Movement of Accounts (aka Lateral Movement), and Brute-Force Attacks. “User behaviour analytics is critical to identifying bad actors in your network, whether they are insider threats or hackers with compromised accounts,” said Chad Loeven, Director of Partnerships at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. “This collaboration provides a unique way to incorporate UBA on Active Directory data directly into RSA Security Analytics. It’s one more way that RSA Security Analytics helps to deliver deep visibility and insight on malicious activity to our customers.”

The interoperability of StealthINTERCEPT with RSA Security Analytics is available now, worldwide. To learn more, contact sales@Stealthbits.com or visit http://Stealthbits.com/partners/technology-partners/rsa.
